News Sport Relief: The Cambridge Medical Centre is once again the proud organiser of the Sport Relief Cambridge Mile and this will take place March 25th, 2012 at the Milton Country Park. The last event in 2010 was a huge success - we raised a whopping £31,807.26 and every single penny of it will be spent by Comic Relief to help disadvantaged people, both at home in the UK and across the world’s poorest countries, to turn their lives around. Our goal for 2012 is to raise £60,000. We will need lots of help to achieve this - please contact Joshua Wies if you would like to volunteer on the day as a marshal or you can click here to register for the event. Activities on the day include the main event - walk or run 1, 3 or 6 miles; a charity auction (please contact if you would like to donate an item); beat the goalie with Cambridge United Football Club; family fun day; orienteering with the West Anglian Orienteering Club and more! New Medical Products Available: I have started a new company, Advanced Balance Systems (ABS) Ltd., which develops and distributes disruptive technologies for the rehabilitation market. The practice is located at two offices - the Kelsey Kerridge Sports Centre on Queen Anne Terrace and the Beechwood Practice on 41Hills Road. We treat all musculo-skeletal problems including neck and back problems, sports injuries, headaches, occupational related disorders such as RSI and carpal tunnel syndrome and can provide pre/post-operative rehabilitation. CambridgePhysio.com also provides services for many of the Cambridge University and Anglia Ruskin sports teams and dance groups and several large companies in conjunction with their occupational health departments. We are listed in the UK Register of Expert Witnesses and are able to take on medico-legal work and receive instructions. We offer flexible appointments and are recognised by all major insurance companies.
